Robert Malmberg is an award-winning photographer, filmmaker, and artist based in NYC, with over 20 years of industry experience. He believes that photography is an essential practice: it expresses powerful ideas, creates change, and keeps unique visual record of the ever- evolving human experience. He resides in Manhattan’s Upper East Side neighborhood with a commercial studio in Long Island City, Queens, where he shoots professional portraits, works on fine art commissions, and prepares for gallery exhibitions.

Malmberg Studio offers a diverse collection of limited edition photography from Robert’s adventures in the studio and abroad, and provides museum quality limited edition prints and custom framing options.

Robert’s passion for studio art, alternative process photography and large format printing have led to numerous collaborations with renowned interior designers, private collections, museums, and luxury hospitality clients alike.
